American Lovers

Cindy and Milton, a couple in their late thirties from a small desert town in Nevada are on the road through the desert towards Los Angeles. The reason? Milton needs to meet the supplier for his Auto-Repair shop. He convinces his girlfriend to come with him. But his actual motivation is different. Their sex life hasn't been going well lately, Cindy doesn’t seem in love. He thinks a little adventure and romance might improve the relationship. But Milton suffers, and he suspects that the reason for Cindy’s rejection and lack of passion might be that he is not circumcised. He loves her and is willing to do whatever it takes to marry the girl. So he schedules an operation.
This is Milton’s secret and Cindy doesn’t know anything about it. It will be a surprise. He will get the operation and then he will propose. Agan. For the sixth time.
Cindy has a secret as well. A witch from the desert called her “ the woman with two lives” and told her to "watch for the signs". She learns a magic ritual to “unlock the energies” that needs to be performed at midnight.
Meanwhile Jeremy, a talented but undescovered musician from Texas who works as a night guard at a factory receives a very special phone call. One of the hundreds of CD’s he’s sent around the world ended up on a producer’s desk and has been heard. This is the chance of his life, Jeremy needs to go to LA right away and negociate a contract.
The couple and Jeremy arrive at the same hotel in the Hollywood Hills.
There we meet Teresitta, an illegal emigrant trying desperately to hold on to her job as a maid, and the silent and dangerous looking Hogan, recently released from prison and spying continuously on the hotel guests. Things don't go as expected, everything turns upside-down when the small town couple meets the Hollywood glamour and extravagant parties, fate brings unexpected events, changing their lives in ways they could have never imagine.
